ToolBar Troubleshooting Help
The iTrust Office ToolBar is simple and easy to use and install. Some minor problems may develop with different operating systems. Here we will help you sort them out.

Windows Vista Users
Before using the toolbar please follow the steps below to add the toolbar domains to your trusted sites so the iTrust StrongBox features will work properly in Vista. Computers using Windows XP do not need to be concerned with these additional steps unless you experience a problem.

1. Open in the IE browser "tools", then "Internet options"
2. Open the "security" tab and click on "trusted sites" then click on the "sites" button.
3. UNCHECK the little box that says "Requires server verification......"
4. Add to the trusted zone the following sites:
http://www.itrustoffice.com then - click "Add"
http://www.itruststrongbox.com - then click "Add"
5. Click "close" then finally "apply" and select Okay to close the window.

Installation problems using FireFox
Firefox requires you to download the .exe file into a folder and launch the program from there. Firefox is not really supported so it is recommended that you install and perform all updates using Internet Explorer.

Before installing, uninstalling or updating the toolbar
You should always unlock the taskbar before performing any of these operations. This is very simple to do, just right click on the taskbar at the bottom of your browser to open its properties menu. If there is a little check mark next to "lock the taskbar" click your mouse there to uncheck it so the taskbar remains unlocked. Once you have completed whichever toolbar operation you started, you can then relock the taskbar.

Updating the Toolbar
Step 1. Unlock the taskbar by right clicking on the taskbar and making sure the properties menu "lock the taskbar" is UN-checked.

Step 2. Open the toolbar menu and click on the link for "Update Toolbar".

Step 3. You will be asked if you want to continue updating the toolbar. Click "Yes".

Step 4. If there is a newer version of the toolbar available you will be prompted to allow the update to continue. If no update is available just click okay and no updating will be done.

Uninstalling the Toolbar
You have uninstalled the toolbar and the toolbar is still is visable in the taskbar. To completely remove the toolbar just right click on the taskbar, hover your mouse over the menu selection "toolbars" until all the available toolbar selections are visable. You will notice a checkmark with no label next to it. Simply uncheck that checkmark and the toolbar will disappear.
